ABOUT THE AGENT

My name is Nelson Pestana Ramos and I'm from Neuss Düsseldorf in Germany. I am the son of hard-working and humble emigrant parents from whom I learnt my best values, including honesty, hard work, respect and appreciation for all people, regardless of their social status.

When I was one year old, I came to Portugal to a small village in the municipality of Vila Viçosa, São Romão, where my parents lived and where I spent my childhood and adolescence. I learnt to love contacting and getting to know people, listening to the stories behind each one of them. Enjoying conversation was my first, and only, way of travelling beyond my village, all because of the contact I had with the customers at my parents' restaurant.

When I was just 17, I volunteered for military service, where I trained as a man and stayed for 10 years. During this time I underwent various specialisations and went on two peace missions, one in Bosnia Herzegovina in 2003/2004 and the other in Lebanon in 2007. Military life instilled in me discipline, a sense of responsibility and a spirit of mutual support.

I embraced an old passion, trained in cooking, pastry and baking, through which I had the opportunity to work in the best hotels in the Algarve, where I had an overwhelming work routine until the end of 2022, when starting a family and the birth of my daughter led me to a new change and a new balance in my life.

There was only one thing left to do: choose the brand and work model that I believed in most and that I thought would be the best for my future clients through the business model and services presented. I found that in ITHLUX. And it is this way of being in the market that I now want to share with all those who trust me and know they can always count on me.
